About RCS AIRdesign

Robert Charles Schmid, principal of RCS AIRdesign, has a bachelor’s Degree from the University of Florida and a Masters of Architecture from University of Colorado, Denver.  Robert’s career in architecture spans many decades working at various levels of the profession.

As an architect, planner, and consultant Robert has over 35 years of experience in the airport concessions industry beginning with the initial concessions program at the then new Denver International Airport in 1993 and also including a 2012 two-year assignment at Los Angeles International Airport as part of the Airport Development Group that oversaw the design and construction of 175 concessions spaces.

RCS AIRdesign currently offers high-level design concept and project management consulting services to concessionaires and architects on how to organize and execute successful concessions projects.  Services include review of the following phase and procedures:

• RFP Submittal Review
• Technical Design Documents Review
• Project Management Procedures Review
• Substantial Completion and Project Closeout Review
